“Unwanted” Man Discovered With Drugs

JAMESTOWN-A city man reported as an unwanted person was discovered drunk and in possession of drugs Wednesday morning after an incident at 270 Fairmount Ave. according to the Jamestown Police Department. 

Simeon A. Leeper, Sr., 40, was reportedly detained on Genesee St. near Fairmount Ave. while in an intoxicated state.

Leeper was transported to city jail where police allegedly discovered 10.8 grams of cocaine. He also reportedly spit at officers, ripped up evidence paperwork and attempted to ingest marijuana.

Leeper was charged with 2nd degree Criminal Trespass and 2nd degree Menacing as he allegedly swung a golf club at 270 Fairmount Ave.

The Jamestown native was also charged with three counts of Conceal/Alter/Destroy, 2nd degree Harassment, DWI, Obstructing Governmental Administration and 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Leeper was transported to city jail to await arraignment.
