VIDEO: Police Identify Man Arrested In High Speed Chase

JAMESTOWN-Police have identified the impaired man arrested with 6.8 grams of cocaine packaged for sale in Monday night’s pursuit as Thomas A. Kimbrough Sr, 47, of Jamestown.

Jamestown Police report Kimbrough, who was allegedly impaired, took off at a high rate of speed after officers attempted to pull him over near the intersection of Prather and Barrett Aves.

Officers followed the vehicle into the Town of Busti via Baker St. before continuing into the Village of Lakewood and Town of Ellicott according to the report.

The pursuit eventually made its way into the City of Jamestown once again according to police.

Kimbrough reportedly led officers on a foot pursuit in the area of W. 15th St. after the suspect crashed his vehicle. He was charged with a laundry list of crimes including third degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and first degree Reckless Endangerment.
