Virginia Man Charged In Randolph Statutory Rape Case

RANDOLPH-A Virginia native was recently charged in a statutory rape case in the village according to the Cattaraugus County Court Clerk’s Office.

Benjamin Selden, 19, is reportedly facing a count of  2nd degree rape (Class D felony). A well-placed source close to the situation told WNYNewsNow Selden and a child had sexual intercourse at least once earlier this year.

Selden was  released into supervised custody per the source.
