JAMESTOWN-A city man wanted by police was arrested on drug charges Monday morning in the area of Dearborn St. according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Joshua Verrett, 19, and a 17-year-old male were walking along Dearborn St. around 9:30 AM when officers detained the duo.
Police said Verrett had a quantity of crystal methamphetamine and two digital scales in his possession at the time of his arrest.
The 17-year-old also allegedly possessed a small quantity of crystal meth.
The pair was transported to city jail pending arraignment.
Verrett was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a 3rd degree felony, and criminal using of drug paraphernalia in addition to the outstanding warrant charge per police.
The 17-year-old faces a criminal possession of a controlled substance charge as well.
