Wife Charged In Husband’s Escape From Custody

SINCLAIRVILLE-A Sinclairville woman was arrested Tuesday in Town of Charlotte Court on several charges including the aid of her husband, escapee Jacob Raynor according to the Chautauqua County Sheriffs Office.

Kelsey A. Raynor, 30, 6523 Nelson Hill Rd., allegedly hid the prisoner and cut his hand cuffs off after he escaped from custody March 7th before helping him avoid capture until the 14th. The Raynors reportedly manufactured and possessed methamphetamine prior to the escape.

Kelsey Raynor was charged with 3rd degree Hindering Prosecution, 3rd degree Unlawful Manufacturing of Methamphetamine, 7th degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and 4th degree Criminal Mischief.

The 30-year-old was placed in County Jail on $15,000 cash/$30,000 property bond.
