Woman Accused Of Robbing Man Of Cash

JAMESTOWN-A city woman is accused of robbing a man of cash at 625 Prendergast Ave. Thursday evening according to city police.

Julian R. Matthews, 21, reportedly fled the apartment from the rear, bolting down E. 8th St. towards N. Main St. She was caught in the area of N. Main near E. 7th St. per police.

Police reportedly recovered a replica pistol used in the robbery.

Matthews was charged with 2nd robbery and 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon. She was transported to City Jail.
