Woman Arrested After Allegedly Violating Order Of Protection

JAMESTOWN – A city woman was arrested Wednesday after police said she violated an order of protection for the second time in the last five years.
Officers responded to a domestic incident on Anderson Street around 8:47 p.m.
When they arrived, police said they observed Joy Ryen, 47, enter a house she had an order of protection to stay away from.
Police located Ryen inside, and took her into custody.
Ryen was charged with criminal contempt 2nd and aggravated family offense, a felony charge, because she was previously convicted of a crime involving a domestic within the past five years.
