JAMESTOWN-A 16-year-old male is behind bars after allegedly threatening a family member with a knife, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
At 12:40 p.m. Monday, police responded to 14 Franklin St. in response to a reported knife threat. Police said the suspect fled but was apprehended quickly by officers. The suspect also allegedly damaged his victim’s vehicle. The youth was charged with Second-Degree Menacing and Fourth-Degree Criminal Mischief. He was remanded to the city jail without incident.
