Going South: Cuomo Blames Weather For State Population Decline

ALBANY – Governor Andrew Cuomo blamed weather for New Yorkers moving to other states.
Cuomo told reporters Tuesday that job losses and high taxes drove people out of New York at one time and that this trend has ended and the local economy has improved.
Cuomo also says New Yorkers are leaving due to personal reasons or “climate based” reasons. Cuomo’s response came after his challenger, Marc Molinaro (R), said Cuomo has failed to stop New Yorkers from moving to other states.
A study last year found that New York has the lead in net migration compared to other states.

  1. Way to take responsibility for your policies. NY needs a new governor, preferably one who’s more centrist than Cuomo
