Apple Working To Let Users Download Their Health Records

CUPERTINO, CA – If you’ve ever struggled to access medical information, like a lab test or immunization record, Apple is trying to make your life easier.
Apple released a test version Wednesday of a new product that lets users download their health records, store them safely, and show them to a doctor, caregiver or friend.
It works by opening the iPhone Health App, navigating to the health record section and, on the new tool, adding a health provider.
From there, the user connect to Apple’s software system and data streaming service. They will be notified via an alert if new information becomes available.
Generally, available information will include allergies, conditions, immunizations, lab results, medications, procedures and vitals.
