CDC Reports Flu Hospitalizations, Deaths Continue To Rise

WASHINGTON, DC (CNN) – Flu hospitalizations and deaths are on the rise amid a particularly rough flu season.
The CDC on Friday reported an additional 16 pediatric flu deaths.
The total number of children killed by the virus so far this season stands at 53.
48 states are reporting widespread flu activity.
CEC Spokeswoman Kristen Nordlund tells CNN that as bad as it is, the wave of flu cases hasn’t yet peaked.
