FDA Calls For New E-Cig Regulations

The US Food and Drug Administration is proposing new measures to regulate flavored nicotine products after a dramatic raise in vaping among high schoolers.
According to the FDA, E-Cigarette use increased 78% among high schoolers and 48% among middle schoolers.
Proposals made by the FDA could prompt the removal of E-Cigarettes from shelves and websites that minors can access.
Mint, menthol, and tobacco flavors are not included in the proposed changes. The FDA says that is to help adults who want to use the products as a way to quit smoking.
