NORTH COLLINS – Eleven-year-old Sidney Sidote passed away following a motor vehicle accident involving an ATV Saturday evening, according to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say the driver and passenger of the vehicle were uninjured when they arrived. Sidote was taken to a nearby hospital before being Mercy Flighted to John Oishei Children’s Hospital, where she passed away.
The crash is still under investigation, and the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with authorities.
