CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY-Numerous events will take place throughout the weekend countywide, so let’s get to it.
The Harvest Moon Cemetery Tours will run from 7-10 PM both Friday and Saturday evening. They’ll depart from the Barker Commons Gazebo on Main St. You’ll go on a horse-drawn trolley ride through the cemetery and hear tales of founding families, local heroes, AND notorious villains. Tickets are just $12.50 and include refreshments at the end of your tour.
Contemporary Christian Rock group, Mercy-Me, will be performing at the Northwest Arena in Jamestown tonight at 7 PM. The group is perhaps best known for their crossover hit, “I Can Only Imagine”, but has a lot of other great songs that have hit the CCM Charts.
Learn how a lonely orphan became iconic ‘Lost Boy’ Peter Pan in the state production of “Peter and the Starcatcher”. Tonight’s performance takes place at Marvel Theatre in Fredonia at 8:00.
The kids will love you if you take them to the second annual Fredonia Mini-maker Faire as they’ll get the chance to make robots, wire jewelry, stained glass and even do some 3-D printing. That’s at SUNY Fredonia from 10 AM-4 PM.
“Terror In The Trees” at the Ring Road Forest at SUNY Fredonia will take place tonight. This is a “haunted walk” through the forest, and it must be a tad on the spooky side, seeing as how the organizers require a guardian to be present for anyone under the age of 16.
We will have another event notice posted later today.
