JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police are working to identify a body discovered at the Chadakoin Park Pavilion Thursday afternoon.
Jamestown Police Chief Harry Snellings told WNYNewsNow the man was walking through the area before he passed away.
The Chautauqua County Medical Examiner is assisting Jamestown Police at the scene.
Police report a family member is headed to the scene to assist officers with the identification of the body.
Chief Snellings said the discovery does not appear suspicious.
The pavilion is located near the intersection of 11th and Lafayette Streets.
