BPU Receives “Numerous” Calls Regarding Water Main Break

JAMESTOWN – A BPU employee confirmed to WNYNewsNow that a water main did break at some point Saturday morning downtown. 

The employee said multiple crews are out trying to fix the break. They added that numerous customers have called throughout the morning to report discolored water, flooded basements, etc.

Main Street is closed from Harrison Street to 4th Street.

The BPU employee was unable to provide a timeframe for the fixture.
