Car Crash Sends City Woman To Hamot Hospital

SHERIDAN – A Jamestown woman was airlifted to Hamot Hospital in Erie Wednesday after her car struck a tree on Route 5 and Herrington Road according to the New York State Police.

The driver, Patricia A. Bova, 49, reportedly drifted across the westbound lane into a yard before striking the tree. State Police said the cause of the drifting is unknown at this time.
Bova’s health condition is also unknown at this time. The investigation is still ongoing.
