CDC: Romaine Lettuce is Not Safe to Eat Due to E. Coli Outbreak

The Center For Disease Control is warning consumers to not eat romaine lettuce as the agency investigates an E. coli outbreak.
The warning involves all types of romaine lettuce, including hearts of romaine and prepackaged salad mixes. The CDC said consumers should throw it all away and clean the shelf or drawer where the lettuce was stored.
Thirty-two people in 11 states have become ill, but no deaths have been reported, according to the CDC.
