JAMESTOWN-Mayor Sam Teresi signed Local Law Number Two Wednesday, which gives incentives to those who renovate abandoned or dilapidated structures.
Lawmakers say this will put more property tax money back into the community.
County Legislator and Executive Candidate George Borrello said this is a new approach the state is trying to use for cities the size of Jamestown. He said the county plans on voting it into law, itself, next week.
