JAMESTOWN – Officers seized a quantity of methamphetamine, as well as packaging and sales materials, from a vehicle they stopped Saturday evening at 850 Allen St., according to the Jamestown Police Department.
The driver, Amanda C. Spitale, 27, allegedly lied about her name in order to avoid being arrested for driving with a suspended license. She also allegedly possessed an additional amount of methamphetamine, as well as suboxone and two separate types of controlled pills, which officers reportedly located on her after she was taken to City Jail.
Spitale was charged with third (one count) and seventh (three counts) degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
A check of the County Sheriff’s website revealed Spitale is currently in County Jail.
