Cleanup Continues From Flash Flooding

WESTERN NEW YORK – People in Cattaraugus and Allegany counties are busy cleaning up after heavy rainfall caused flash flooding Wednesday.
Roads were covered with rushing water and mud in Bolivar, NY.
Crews report there was no major damage to any roads or homes, though, and thankfully no one was injured. Fire officials say the water started to recede after about an hour.
Citizens said that they were all caught off guard and that the storms seemed to sit just above their area.
Officials say they don’t have to do any sort of repair work, and all the affected roads are back open.
