MAYVILLE – Monitoring and sampling efforts for harmful algal blooms or HABs are ongoing at affected lakes in Chautauqua County, according to County Executive George Borrello’s office.
Chautauqua Lake – Widespread harmful algal blooms have been confirmed in the South Basin and small isolated blooms have been confirmed in the North Basin, however no public beaches are closed due to HABs per the office.
