Cuomo Poised To Sue Federal Immigration Enforcement Over Raids

NEW YORK – Governor Andrew Cuomo unveiled his plans to fight immigration raids this week.
Nearly 300 people have been arrested in raids carried out by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, in New York in the last month.
“We also believe that ICE is endangering the public safety by not notifying local law enforcement and state law enforcement,” Cuomo said.
Cuomo said he plans to issue a cease and desist letter to the federal agency to put a stop to recent “reckless arrests.”
“I’ll also be executing an executive order that says ICE cannot enter a state facility or a state building without a valid judicial warrant,” said Cuomo.
The Department of Homeland Security said they will continue to enforce immigration laws as set forth by Congress.

  1. Why doesn’t that Asshat sign an order of resignation before you destroys that while state. Then maybe I’d move back to my beloved home state.
