Falconer Man Allegedly Threatens To Carry Out Violence In Facebook Post

FALCONER –  A Falconer man is accused of making at least one Facebook post that threatened to carry out what the Ellicott Police Department is calling “terrible violence”.
Police reportedly received information about the alleged post on February 28th. Authorities say the post was made on 36-year-old James B. Caloren’s Facebook page.
A warrant was issued for a storage unit that was rented by Caloren. The search revealed that Caloren was allegedly in possession of an AK47 assault rifle, a sawed-off 16-gauge shotgun, a .308-rifle. a 12-gauge shotgun, a large amount of ammo, and several other weapons.
Caloren, according to the EPD, has multiple prior felony convictions and is not permitted to possess any firearms. An arrest warrant was issued for Caloren.
He was eventually located, arrested and charged with five felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Town of Ellicott Court and remanded to County Jail.
The FBI and ATF are assisting in the investigation, and federal charges are expected per EPD.
