LAKEWOOD – The family of a man who has been missing for a week, is asking for the public’s support to help bring him home.
Wilfredo Colon Rodriguez Jr., who also goes by Fred, according to a Facebook post dedicated to raising awareness about his disappearance, went missing on Sunday.
Several messages to the WNYNewsNow Facebook page called for more attention to this matter.
The actual post, by Evelyn Cruz, said that anyone with any knowledge of his whereabouts should contact the Lakewood-Busti Police.
WNYNewsNow reached out to police and were advised, “to call back tomorrow when a sergeant was around,” said the unidentified officer.
“I can’t give any media information out,” he added.
Multiple Attempts to reach out to the family have been unsuccessful.
