Fire Destroys Vacant Barrett Ave. Home, Displaces Multiple Families

JAMESTOWN-A fire ravaged a vacant structure on the 200 block of Barrett Ave. Wednesday causing damage to two other houses and two cars. 

Fire officials told WNYNewsNow on scene 12 people were evacuated from 209 Barrett Ave.

Jamestown Director of Development Vince Dejoy said he believes the fire was intentionally set. He said the potential arsonist would pay dearly.

  1. My friend Jonathan lived there. I hope whoever did this gets arrested, because nobody deserves this! Luckily everyone is ok, but what if Jon died…?
