Gas Leak Causes Temporary Evacuation Of Several Jamestown Stores

JAMESTOWN – A natural gas leak at the Jamestown Friendlys Wednesday morning prompted the evacuation of the restaurant and neighboring business.
City fire crews responded to the eatery just before 11 a.m. for a report of a broken natural gas pipe.
Community reporters tell us firefighters evacuated the area as they secured the scene.
As of 11:10 a.m. most of the area is clear and has returned to normal, except for Friendlys.
