WARREN – A Tidioute (Pa.) woman plead guilty Thursday to six separate charges in Warren County Court after allegedly stealing prescription medications from a nursing home while serving as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
According to court documents obtained by WNYNewsNow, Kellie A. Gentz, 31, will be sentenced in January on charges of acquiring controlled substances, neglect of care of a dependent person, simple assault, theft by unlawfully taking a moving prop, recklessly endangering another person and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Gentz was originally charged in September with acquiring controlled substances, five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, neglect of care of a dependent person, simple assault, theft by unlawfully taking a moving prop and recklessly endangering another person. The charges derived from an investigation by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office.
Four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, however, were withdrawn last month.
