GoFundMe Page Established For Missing Man; Questions Persist, $5,000 Target Established

JAMESTOWN – A GoFundMe page established for a missing man, who was last seen in the wee hours nearly two weeks ago, aims to raise $5,000 for  costs associated with efforts used to determine his whereabouts.
A man who spoke to WNYNewsNow nearly two weeks ago, identifying himself as a friend who was drinking with Carpenter hours before he was last seen, said Carpenter left the Wine Cellar alone early morning of Wednesday, April 11th.
Jamestown Police utilized a New York State Police helicopter to search for Carpenter on Friday.
Specifics about the search have not been made public.
“We will be using all proceeds donated to this cause towards a reward as well as other costs associated with efforts used to determine his whereabouts,” the page’s description stated.
Jamestown Police have been working diligently to provide answers to the many questions that those close to Carpenter have.
According to a family friend who spoke to WNYNewsNow back on April 11th, “Captain (Robert) Samuelson reacted with great urgency when the original report was filed. He had five detectives working to find Sean almost immediately.”
The fundraising site states that last known contact with Carpenter was April 11th at 3:00 am.
Police said Carpenter was last seen wearing a brown baseball hat, long sleeve green jacket, and grey and red sneakers.
