JAMESTOWN-A hotel renovation project at the corner of 4th and Washington Sts. is expected to receive nearly $3.5 Million from New York State this year.
Mayor Sam Teresi told WNYNewsNow earlier this month that the city is loaning $350,000 to Buffalo-based company Hamister Group, LLC. for the hotel. Eleven other projects were recommended to receive funding.
The former Ramada has laid vacant since 2014.

Downtown programming and activities: $600,000
Excursion train infrastructure and depot: $670,000
Furniture Mart Building redevelopment: $1.5 million
Greater Jamestown Riverwalk enhancements: $325,000
Jackson Center: $1.5 million
Jamestown Brewing Company: $1 million
Little Theater: $265,000
Redevelopment of the former Key Bank Building: $1 million
Revitalization of the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts: $1.5 million
Streetscape and pedestrian improvements: $610,000
