Holiday Valley Resort Announces $3.2 Million Upgrade

ELLICOTTVILLE – Holiday Valley, a four-season resort, is seeking a $190,000 sales tax exemption from the Cattaraugus County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) for a $3.2 million upgrade.
Win-Sum Ski Corp., owners of the resort, is seeking the exemption for the project, which includes several upgrades.
Projects include snow making machines, automatic snow guns, a roof for the Inn at Holiday Valley and a new snow groomer.
Also proposed is a new Sky High Adventure Park course, a Tarzan Swing, the new Happy Holiday Gem Mine for children and funds for planning a new golf center on Rt. 219 across from the resort. The center will house miniature golf, video games and other family friendly  activities.
