FALCONER-A hot piece of metal caused a fire within a factory paper shredder at 1943 New York Ave. Thursday morning according to Falconer Fire Chief Charlie Piazza.
Piazza told WNYNewsNow the fire was contained and cleaned up within a half-hour. Hot metal was also the cause of last Thursday’s conveyor belt fire at JRL Enterprises.
Fire crews from Falconer, Gerry and Kennedy were on hand along with emergency personnel.
