The department suffered leakage issues in Sept. 2017, and the issues remained throughout the past year.
“It’s been a long time coming,” Snellings told WNYNewsNow Monday night. “Now the community will have more direct access. Before it was a process.”
Anyone wishing to call JPD for non-emergency matters until that time can call 661-7090 for the dispatch center in Mayville. 911 is still the standard emergency number.
If you need to obtain a report from the Jamestown Police Department you can call (716) 483-7536.
