LAKEWOOD – The Kitchen Collection store in the Chautauqua Mall will be closing after the holidays.
A store spokeswoman confirmed to WNYNewsNow that the store will close sometime after Christmas, but did not give any further explanation, except that online shopping may have been a factor.
“It’s true, but I can’t really comment, but people like to shop online, that’s all I can say,” she said.
She added that she and her staff are looking for new employment if anyone is hiring.
The store sells a variety of kitchen-related appliances and gadgets, including unique items.
The closing means the closest Kitchen Collection store near the Jamestown area is in Erie.
This is the fourth store in Chautauqua Mall to close in recent months, following closures by The Bon Ton, Sears and Famous Footware.
