Local Hit Music Video Brings Awareness To Youth Suicide, A Video Report

JAMESTOWN-The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention reports suicide is currently the second-leading cause of death for teens and young adults in the U.S.

Local artist Relly Rell and Jack Preacher’s latest hit “Good Enough”, published Monday, spotlighted the ever-growing problem.

“No one should ever have to go through that,” said Relly Rell. “In an environment such as school, which is seen to be a safe-learning environment, these kids are going through hell.”

Rell wants to ultimately save lives by inspiring youth through his music.

Preacher said the song served as the perfect platform to spread suicide awareness, a subject that hits home for the 21-year-old.

“Last year I had one of my good friends kill herself, so that served as my inspiration for the piece,” Preacher said.

As of Thursday their video was shared by just under 3,000 supporters with around 84,000 views. Both artists wanted to thank the community and are happy to see the response from the community.
