Lockout Stemmed From “Implied Threat”

JAMESTOWN – Thursday morning’s lockout was due to an “implied threat” according to a District statement.

The district said Jamestown Police resolved the matter, as the lockout was lifted.  Students were able to freely move around the school building, but nobody was allowed to go in or out according to the district.

Police Chief Harry Snellings told WNYNewsNow via text Superintendent Bret Apthorpe is the one who makes such lockout orders.
