Man Arrested While Allegedly In Possession of Meth, Marijuana

JAMESTOWN – A city man was arrested while allegedly in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine and marijuana during a traffic stop early Thursday morning on Baker Street according to the Jamestown Police Department. 
Matthew Haskins, 36, who was reportedly the passenger, was charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
The driver, John Sample, 46, was charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation and other vehicle and traffic violations.
Both were transported to city jail.
