Man Charged With Arson Following Two Jamestown Fires

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man was arrested Monday after Jamestown Police said he set two fires in January and November.
David M. Wright, 31, was charged with 2nd degree arson related to a fire at 24 Phillips St. and 12 Mt. Vernon Pl.

The Mt. Vernon Place fire occurred on November 18, 2017 and the Phillips Street fire occurred on January 19, 2018.

Wright was also charged with 2nd degree criminal mischief.
Police said he was arraigned in Jamestown City Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail.
