Man Turned Over To Border Patrol After Chase

DUNKIRK – A man was turned over to Border Patrol last month after he allegedly led Dunkirk Police on a car chase and subsequent foot chase in the area of North Pangolin Street.
The man was reportedly a passenger of Alverado Salazar-Sanchez, 26, of Dunkirk, who also allegedly led officers on the chase. Salazar-Sanchez was reportedly intoxicated. He also allegedly drove without a license.
Salazar-Sanchez was charged with DWI and several vehicle/traffic law infractions.
