ELLICOTT-An Ohio native is seeking the owner of a coat which was placed over her 19-year-old daughter after a car accident on I-86 eastbound near the Jamestown exit last week.

Susan Wise asks anyone to contact her on Facebook with information in regards to the coat’s owner. Wise said she would like to return it and give a big thank you.

Wise’s daughter, Leah, was traveling with another girl from Ohio to a friend’s house in New York when they lost control of their vehicle in an attempted lane change per New York State Police.

The vehicle reportedly spun 180 degrees before landing on the shoulder of the road. As a result, the vehicle faced the wrong direction according to the NYSP.
