Mother Of Murdered Man Claims DA Hasn’t Returned Her Calls

JAMESTOWN – The mother of a 22-year-old man that was murdered last November said that Chautauqua County District Attorney Patrick Swanson will not return her calls.
Dylan Ownbey was discovered by police suffering from stab wounds to the neck on November 29, 2017, on Willard Street.
“I’ve tried several different times to get in touch with Swanson but he has yet to return my calls,” said Shana Workman.
Several attempts by WNYNewsNow reporters to get a comment from both Swanson and the Jamestown Police Department have been unsuccessful.
Jamestown Police Chief Harry Snellings said earlier this year that the investigation is open, but that the department would remain “tight-lipped.”
“We’ve received a lot of tips, we’re following up on them, and the investigation is ongoing but we will be very tight-lipped about this,”  Snellings said.
