UPDATE: At 10:20 A.M Monday morning, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Paul W. Diaz, 50, of Cherry Creek.
CHERRY CREEK – An unidentified male motorcyclist died following an accident Sunday evening on Farrington Hollow Road, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Jassen E. Sherman, 47, of Falconer, was reportedly backing out of a driveway when he allegedly failed to yield the right of way, causing the motorcycle to strike his vehicle.
The motorcyclist was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Sherman was cited for failure to yield the right of way when entering the roadway and is due back in Town of Cherry Court at a later date.
