National Comedy Center No Stranger To National Media

JAMESTOWN РThe National Comedy  Center, which opened today, not only brought in Gov. Andrew Cuomo for a visit, but has drawn the attention of news and entertainment organizations across the nation and even some international coverage.
The coverage before and during the official opening has placed Jamestown front and center on the media entertainment map. Coverage has included comedian Lewis Black, sporting a NCC T-shirt, espousing the many positives of the NCC on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, to coverage in the London Times.
Coverage before and after the openings has included WGRZ, The Wall Street Journal, Variety, The Associated Press, WGN Radio, The Plain Dealer and Playbill.
Buffalo News Gusto called the NCC a game changer.
The Plain Dealer said the NCC is an engaging, entertaining museum. Susan Glaser, who visited and reviewed the NCC, said it is “well worth” the drive from Cleveland, especially for those who love to laugh.
NPR called the NCC’s use of technology “cutting edge.”
Parade called the transition of the NCC from a dream to a reality “epic” and said the exhibits are fun and interactive.
Even Architectural Digest covered the NCC, listing it as one of the 15 most noteworthy museums opening in 2018.
In addition, covering the only center dedicated to the art of comedy includes U.S. News, the LA Times, NPR, the Hollywood Reporter, Washington Times, Rolling Stone, the New York Post, Forbes, Parade Magazine and the Real Ernie Kovacs.
