ALLEGANY – Fire tore though the Subway Restaurant on West State Street late Saturday afternoon near Olean.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports that multiple fire crews responded to the restaurant chain.
As of Saturday evening there is no reported injuries caused by the fire.
State Street is closed from near the Walmart entrance to Independence Drive.
WNYNewsNow Community Reporter Amelia Grabowski said that much of the building was consumed by flames and smoke filled the air as crews worked blaze.
No word yet on what caused the fire. WNYNewsNow will continue to seek updates.
