CHAUTAUQUA – A Panama man was arrested and charged Thursday morning in connection with a burglary that occurred in April on Lyons Road, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Scott McChesney, 28, of Swede Road, allegedly broke into a residence without the homeowner’s permission and stole numerous items from the residence.
McChesney faces charges of second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny. McChesney was arraigned in the Town of Chautauqua Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail without bail.
The investigation was conducted by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Sheriff’s Office.
