Pot Soon To Be Legal In Canada

OTTAWA – Canada will leagalize recreational marijuana later this month and U.S. Border Patrol agents say they are ready for increased traffic at the border.
Agents warn anyone that may try to sneak marijuana back into the U.S. will face anything from a fine to a zero-tolerance policy.
Searchers say the strong smell of the plant will alert officers and travelers will get a secondary search to make sure marijuana isn’t in the vehicle.
Anyone who gets caught could be arrested and fined $500.
Border Patrol urges people planning to use marijuana in Canada to spend the night or have a designated driver on the way home.
