JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Rebels completed their three-game home stand with a 4-2 loss Saturday against the Northeast Generals on Military Appreciation and First Responder Night.
The game was a scoreless tie at the end of the first period.
With 12:43 left in the second period, defenseman Ryan Rowland scored the first goal of the game off of assists from Louis Boudon and Michael Rutigliano to give the Generals a 1-0 lead.
Forward Connor Marshall added a goal off of assists from Alex Cohen and Cam Gaudette to extend the Generals lead to 2-0 at the second intermission.
Rebels forward, Antonio Venuto, scored a goal 3:32 into the third period off of a Noah Finstrom assist to cut the deficit to 2-1.
One minute and 48 seconds later, the Rebels would tie the game at two off of a Lewis Crosby power-play goal, which was assisted by Alex Frye, and Colin Schmidt.
The Generals reclaimed the lead, 3-2, with eight minutes left in regulation off of an Alex Cohen goal assisted by Connor Marshall.
Rowland scored his second goal of the game on a Louis Boudon assist to extend the Generals lead to 4-2.
Jamestown remains in third place in the East Division with 20 points.
The Rebels next home stand will be on Nov. 23 and 24 against the Maryland Black Bears.
Puck drop for both games will be at 7:05 p.m.
