Rescued Dog Continues To Receive Treatment Friday

JAMESTOWN- The image above was taken this morning after Mia, one of two dogs discovered in a burning Mt. Vernon Pl. house Thursday,  had been cleaned up a bit.

Jamestown Police said the staff at Jamestown Veterinary Hospital was able to get her hair cut and have started to treat her for her medical issues. She will soon be transferred to a local kennel where they will handle her from there.

David M. Wright, 31, William L. Wright, 39, and Lisa A. Bortz, 40, all of whom were reportedly occupying the house, were charged with the following:

Overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals; and failure to provide proper sustenance.
