LAKEWOOD – The search for a missing swimmer is in its third day as rescue and recovery crews continue to look for Timothy D. Yocum, 47, of Falconer.
Yocum went missing Saturday off of waters near the Lakewood Yacht Club. Responders were called in shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday.
Involved in the search are the Chautauqua County WET team, Lakewood Fire Department, Celeron Fire Department, Bemus Point Fire Department, Dewittville Fire Department, Ashville Fire Department, Chautauqua County Emergency Services, Starflight, New York State Police, and Glade Township, Pa., Fire Department.
The search continued Sunday evening and resumed this morning.
