Social Justice Leaders React To Charlottesville Protesting

Two powerful social justice leaders reacted Saturday afternoon to the white supremacist protesting in Charlottesville, Va.

President of NAACP, NYS Conference Hazel Dukes told WNYNewsNow the incident is very disturbing to those who are “good-willed,” and that it’s a setback to the progress minorities have made historically.

National President of the A. Phillip Randolph Institute Clayola Brown provided reaction of her own below.

Reporter Ryan Hedrick and myself tried numerous times to reach members of various local and national white supremacy groups, including David Duke, but to no avail.

Hedrick will have a report of his own soon.

  1. Two groups just as bad as the other only one group are referred to as “social justice advocates” and the other as “white supremacist”. What a sad turn of events America has taken.
